The Place to Win bet on 6 or 8 pays 7/6 if the number is rolled before a 7. There are several areas of the craps table where these bets can be made. It's a negative progression plan where the stakes are raised if you lose. Long term, the large come bets will return enough money that you can then downsize your even further successive come bets back to the table minimum. The 6/8 progression works by focusing on two wagers: betting the 6 and betting the 8. However, in the short term, a progressive come bet system would return enough money on 7's to offset this risk. My thinking is that with each additional come bet and odds bet, you have more money on the table vulnerable to having a 7 rolled. playing a 10$ pass line bet, followed by a 10$ come bet followed by a 20$ come bet, followed by a 25/30/40$ come bet and their corresponding odds. Is there a progressive betting system via each successive come bet that limits early losses and maximizes profit? I.e. The come bet does offer some hedge to early 7's so my question is: ![]() However, prior to establishing points with multiple come bets, you must have several rolls without a 7. Combining pass line bets with come line bets can be a good way of establishing large amount of winning 'points' relative to the losing '7'. Probability question: progressive hedging in Casino CrapsĮveryone here probably already knows that playing the pass line and odds behind the pass line in a game of craps is the best odds you can find in the casino (besides the don't pass bar).
